Bro. Jonathan Ritchey was born in Banner Elk, NC. Jonathan grew up in a godly home and was raised by godly parents who made sure that he was in church and learned about the precious Word of God from a young child all the way through his high school years. In 2000 he moved from the mountains of North Carolina to his current home of Winston Salem NC where he met his wife, Jennifer. While Jonathan was equipped with a head knowledge of the Bible and its precious truths he never had accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. In December 2005 after spending several years of living a hypocritical and sinful life he was confronted with his sinful choices by a man who knocked on his door one night. It was that night that Jonathan was convicted by the Holy Spirit of his sin and he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Bro. Jonathan surrendered his life to Christ and on May 17, 2009 he accepted God’s call to preach and has been active in pursuing that call. Bro. Jonathan currently preaches every Sunday to the 5th and 6thgrade at his home church, Woodland Baptist Church. Jonathan also regularly preaches in the teen ministries at Woodland, two local rest homes, and the Winston Salem Rescue Mission.
